Safety Rules & Regulations

    • All guests must abide by posted rules, regulations and verbal instructions from Widgets Family Fun team members.
    • All minors must be accompanied by a responsible guardian and must not be left unattended.
    • Widgets Family Fun is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please leave your valuables at home or use one of our complementary lockers.
    • This is a family facility, please use kind words and actions.
    • We know you are excited, but please walk,
    • Please play safe, do not climb on or damage props, attractions, furniture, handrails, etc.
    • The Toddler Zone area in Ballocity is reserved for our younger guests under the age of three (3). Toddlers must be supervised at all times and must have a wristband.
    • All guests under the age of twelve (12) are encouraged to play in Ballocity; however, children under the age of four (4) must be accompanied by an adult. One (1) adult is allowed entry into Ballocity with a paid toddler wristband. All guests playing in Ballocity must purchase and wear wristbands and be wearing socks at all times.
    • Guests wishing to play laser tag must wear shoes.
    • Children may not play laser tag if the vest/phaser impedes their ability to walk.
    • No outside food or beverages are allowed inside Widgets Family Fun. Cakes and cupcakes area allowed for birthday events only.

Virtual Reality Rules & Regulations

    • Recommended for guests ages eight (8) and older. No refunds will be given for younger players if they are unable to complete their time.
    • The session time does not pause when switching players.
    • The session time may be paused periodically, at the discretion of the VR Game Master, to clean the equipment.
    • Players can extend their session IF they paid online AND the schedule allows.
    • Players may be held liable if any equipment is damaged due to negligence or improper use of equipment.
    • Players and spectators must follow the directions of the VR Game Master and Widget Family Fun team members at all time.
    • All online VR reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.
    • Any missed reservations will not receive a refund or the option to reschedule.
    • Any changes are subject to availability and cancellation policy.
 
WARNING: This is a rigorous activity. Participants must be in good health, free from heart ailments, dizziness, back problems, pregnancy or other physical ailments to participate. This establishment is not responsible for accidents. Individuals participating in this activity do so at their own risk. Staff reserve the right to pause or end the session if the  participant’s health or safety are in jeopardy.

Where is widgets family fun located?
    • We are located just to the southeast of the intersection of Highway 24 and South Port Drive. Our address is 8232 South Port Drive Manhattan, KS 66502.
 
Is there an admission into Widgets Family Fun?
    • There is no admission fee into Widgets Family Fun and guests “pay as you play” at each attraction. For more information on attractions and pricing, click here.
 
What is the Widgets Family Fun rechargeable play card?
    • Guests load their rechargeable play card with their pre-selected package or desired dollar amount to use during their visit. Each attraction and game has an attached swiper that debits the play card and begins the game. Any e-tickets won from redemption games will be loaded automatically onto the play card until items are “purchased” at Redemption.
 
How do I purchase a rechargeable play card?
    • Play cards can be purchased at Guest Services or from the kiosk located in the arcade. When loading or recharging a play card at the kiosk, the kiosk does not dispense change if paying with cash. Any change owed will be loaded onto the play card.
 
Can I get a refund of any remaining play value on my play card at the end of my visit?
    • No. Any unused play value, tickets or play privileges cannot be refunded and will remain on your play card to be used during your next visit. If you have remaining play value, tickets or play privileges we encourage you to register your card at Guest Services or kiosk located in the arcade. Registered cards can be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. Cards that are lost, stolen or damaged cannot be replaced if they are not registered.
 
What do I do with my belongings while at Widgets Family Fun?
    • Widgets Family Fun offers complementary, electronic lockers for guests to use. They are located across from Guest Services near the front doors. We encourage all guests to keep all valuables at home, on their person or safely locked away. Widgets Family Fun is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
 
How should I dress for my visit to Widgets Family Fun?
    • Widgets Family Fun encourages guests to dress appropriately for the amount of activity in which you plan to participate. Athletic clothes and shoes are encouraged but not required. Shoes are not allowed and socks are required for all guests inside Ballocity. Socks are available for purchase at Guest Services. Shoes are required to play laser tag and all other attractions; close toed athletic shoes are encouraged but not required.
 
Do I need to rent shoes to play a game of Mini Bowling?
    • Special bowling shoes are not required to play mini bowling.
 
What food options are available at Widgets Family Fun?
    • Widgets Family Fun offers a wide variety of options of food, beverages and novelty items. Check out our menu here!
 
How do I schedule a birthday party?
    • Widgets Family Fun offers five (5) standard birthday party packages that may be booked online, over the phone or with one of our team members at our store. Click here to book your birthday party.
 
Do I have to book a birthday party package to celebrate a birthday at Widgets Family Fun?
    • No, walk in parties are always welcome. Guests can set up their own parties using a table or booth provided in Cafe; however, tables and booths are not able to be reserved and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. No decorations can be taped or glued to furniture, walls or floors. No outside food or beverages, except cake or cupcakes, are allowed. Standard play packages can be purchased at Guest Services. Unlimited arcade cards are not available for walk-in parties.
 
Can I host a non-birthday event or party at Widgets Family Fun?
    • Widgets Family Fun can help you with any event up to 400 guests with or without food options. Call or stop by to talk to one of our team members or view our Group Events page for more information.
 
Does Widgets Family Fun have trampolines?
    • Widgets Family Fun does not have trampolines or go cards. To view the attractions we do have, click here.
